How to configure the synchronization between Personio and Javelo?
There are 2 steps to set up the synchronization and get Personio's users into Javelo.

⚠️ If you’re already using Javelo and have users in the app, please read Preparing Javelo for External User Source Integration before proceeding.
1- Set up the integration in Personio
First, login to your Personio account.
Go to "Settings" > "Integrations" > "API Credentials" as illustrated below:
Then "Generate new credentials":
Fill the fields:
Name: Javelo
Integration: other
Personal data: check read box for Employees
Readable employee attributes:
⚠️ Javelo synchronizes attributes beyond this list:

⚠️ Note your Client ID and secret, you will need it to configure on Javelo’s side.
2- Set up the integration in Javelo
⚠️ You need to have the company manager’s right to get to this part.
Go to "Settings" (⚙️ icon) in the upper right corner of your Javelo account.
Select “Integrations” from the navigation menu under the Company section.
Click "Connect" in Personio integration panel.
Enter the client ID and secret you got previously.
Click Apply, you’re done. 🎉
💡 The users will be synchronized automatically every morning.
How to deactivate the synchronization?
If you need to interrupt the synchronization, you can come back to the Integrations tab and click “Disconnect” at the bottom of Personio integration panel:
Then check the box "OK, I understand" and click "Confirm" to delete the integration :
⚠️ You will have to start the process from step 1 if you want to set it up again.
What is synchronized with Personio?
Javelo is synchronising Personio users with the following attributes:

💡 About the gender attribute:
There are 4 options for gender in Personio: female, male, diverse and undefined. In Javelo, there are 2 by default ; if you want more options just like in Personio, feel free to add choices in the gender custom field in Javelo.
