The training module
Updated over a week ago

The principle of this module is to collect training needs expressed during or outside interviews. To do this, you need to start by creating a questionnaire with a module for collecting training requests, then launch a campaign among your employees, and finally extract and collect these requests.

Create a questionnaire with the training request module

1. Access a questionnaire in Performance > Campaign > Questionnaire at top right.

2. Click on Create questionnaire, top right, and select Individual interview.

3. Click + Add a question and select the Smart Module.

4. Select Training needs

A question is then created in the questionnaire.

You can choose the title, a description and a link if required (for example, to insert a training catalog). Then choose the maximum number of training requests that the employee and manager can make.

⚠️ It is possible to make the question compulsory or to add a sub-question "Would you like to use your CPF to access certain training courses?"

Launch your maintenance campaign

You can launch your campaign from the Performance > Campaign tab and click New campaign.

In the interview, this question functions in the same way as the other types of question:

Preparation phase: Employees and managers will be able to prepare their interviews and have access to the question of training needs.

They can click on "Add a new request" to formulate a training request proposal.

They can then add :

- The name of the course

- The desired priority

- The cost of training

- A description of the course

- A link if needed

During the exchange phase, the manager can consult the preparations (if they have been shared) and, if necessary, copy and paste training requests into the minutes, as with the other questions on the questionnaire.

Collect, administer and retrieve requests

To consult and manage requests made during interviews, HR must go to the Development > Training tab. Only training requests resulting from validated interviews are entered into the module.

Here you can filter and sort your employees' training requests, and export them in Excel format.

You can also make decisions directly from the list of requests:

  • Accept them

  • Refuse them

  • Put them on hold

  • Delete them

Each of these actions will result in a customizable notification e-mail being sent to the employee and his/her manager. These decisions can be made one at a time, or as a group by ticking the boxes.

Formulate training requests outside of interviews

First, you need to set up the training requests and then create training courses with Request a training course.

1. The company admin can choose whether a manager can request training for his N-1s, and also choose whether an employee can express a training wish.

To make these settings, go to the Settings page in the top right-hand corner, then in the Company category, click on Training.

2. Creating courses from the "Request a course" button

If the "Employee can request training" option is activated, the employee will be able to formulate training requests from his or her profile page by clicking on "Request training".

If the option "A manager can request training for his N-1s" is activated, the manager will be able to formulate training requests for his employees from the My team > Training menu.

This is also where the manager can decide whether to approve an employee's training request. If the manager approves the training request, it will then be submitted to HR for final approval.
